The enclosed example replicates a simple calculation of financials leveraging BOARD Nexel formulas and the Data Picker functionality (please see BOARD Data Picker Functionality for additional details).
Financial projections are calculated on the fly, as a result of different manual inputs, and can be also written into an infocube using the Nexel Writeback function. This methodology can be used as an alternative to the rules and dataflows.

The NEXEL formulas and logics for aggregation/calculation of financial results, are editable and displayed to the end users for update and maintenance. This could be a good alternative approach to be evaluated in contexts where calculation logics change very often and/or it's necessary to allow end-users to modify on-the-fly the financial logics behind each formula.
