New version of BOARD Cloud Administration Portal

A new version of BOARD Cloud Administration Portal will be released in the next few days.

This release includes the following new features:

 

Capsule Organizer 

this new area of the Cloud Administration Portal allows the administrator to manage Capsules.

The administrator can:

  • Copy, delete, rename or move a Capsule or a Capsule folder
  • Upload or download Capsules from or to the cloud server.

 

Capsule Organizer is useful for moving or promoting Capsules between environments, for example from the sandbox to the production environment: 

  1. log on the Board Cloud Admin Portal of the Sandbox environment and download the desired Capsule(s) to a local disk.
  2. log on the Board Cloud Admin Portal of the production environment and upload the Capsule(s) previously downloaded.   

 

Note that it is possible to download an entire Capsule tree (a Capsule folder with its all Capsules and subfolders). The Capsule tree will be downloaded a single ZIP file. Uploading such ZIP file will automatically un-zip and restore the full Capsule tree with all Capsules and subfolders.

 

Data pipeline Data Sources manager

This feature allows the administrator to define a data-pipeline data-source which can then be used in a BOARD Datareader as an ODBC data source.

 

Other changes

Several small fixes and adjustments have been done: improved Internet Explorer support, improved logs, OWASP vulnerabilities fixes.

  

This new Board Cloud Administration Portal will be automatically rolled-out to all customers that are on BOARD version 10.1.2 or later.
