Set Data Entry to All Row

Hello, 
I want to set a date in data entry. I just want entry only once, and the another row automatically filled based on entry the first data. Can BOARD possible do that? and How?

you can achive what you want when your data entry cube doesn´t rely on the Entity that you set by row. Then Board will set the Input the same for all lines.
In this way you can do the data entry in a second dataview and you only have one cell for Input. In your layout you can Show the cube without data entry enabled and you will see the same date in every row.

Another way is to use a temp-cube and a procedure which is performed after a data entry. The procedure must do a dataflow into a cube (temp-cube) without your Entity by row and then backwards to your used cube.

you can for sure use the "lock and spread" functionality: you can find more details in this page of our Board Manual.

You have only to open the pop-up window, clicking on the dedicated icon

then select the cells you want to change and add a constant or apply another kind of operation:

Thanks for your solution. I already try it and the cube contain same data for all lines. But its in case in 1 axes or 2axes with relationship.

In my case, i want to make data view with 2 axes(entity)-no relationship. for example, like this.

When i applied for adding date for all lines, like your solution. Then the system appeared an error.

Any solution for this case? I just want to use 2 entity without relationship

Hi @Dimas Prayogo,

sorry for the late answer. It all depends on your structure of the cube. Here is an example where the date cube is only on one Dimension (dummy) and it is in the dataview with 2 independent dimensions by row.
So maybe you can provide more Information? And what is your final goal you want to achive ?
