Automated Export of Dataviews to Excel or Email

Hey Board Community,

i have a couple of dataviews on a screen in Board which I need to export to Excel and then send via email.

At the moment the export is done manualy by clicking on the dataview and exporting it to Excel. This is very time consuming and a lot of manual work because I need to do this for multiple dataviews. Is it possible to write a procedure to export files automatically, ideally multiple dataviews in one Excel workbook one tab for each dataview? Or is it possible to send them view mail directly from Board?

Hi @Mathias Flintrop,

you can easily achieve this with a newer Board version. Since 10.5 the new broadcasting features allows you to do stuff like that quite easily.

You should be able to update to 10.6 with little effort or even go to 11.2.

I would suggest to think about an update and use these new standard functions if possible.
