Dear All,
I'm currently working on a customer context that needs 2 different calendars:
What are your thoughts?
If you never met these requests, what would be your suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

I'm currently working on a customer context that needs 2 different calendars:
- One starting in Jan (FR)
- The other one starting in Mar (DE)
- These 2 calendars (same time range entity? another cube? date cube? make reference from one cube to the other to keep year/month consistent between each other?)
- QTD and YTD vision in these 2 calendars (if using different cubes)?
What are your thoughts?
If you never met these requests, what would be your suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Benoit ROLLAND EYROLLES,
did you think about using the "Fiscal Year" entity to achieve your aim?
This can be found in the Time Range settings of your database. You can find more information here in our manual: https://www.boardmanual.com/Chapter_6_-_Database_Design_and_Management_files/Time_Range/Time_range.htm
Hope this helps,
Helmut

Hello @Helmut Heimann,
Thanks for your reply.
It's a solution that would answer the full year vision.
However, the need is also to report data by quarter and have a QTD vision. It's almost like a school calendar to implement / setup, except that the shift is +2 months rather than +6.

Didn't thought about such option, but does a flag could solve the issue?
Thanks.

Hi @Benoit ROLLAND EYROLLES,
the setup could be using the Fiscal Year from March. Then you have the opportunity to select either Year or Fiscal Year. The quarter is set to "normal" Year. With a custom time Dimension you can define also the quarter for the fiscal year (so quarter 1 ist from March to May and so on).
What do you mean with a School calendar and shift +2 ?

Hello @Dietmar Jeschkeit,
Thanks for your reply; I'll make a try with this set up and will come back to you.
School calendar: starts in July.
Shift +2: calendar starts in March.
