Generic Quarter

Hello, 
We need to set up a Generic Quarter custom time entity and I have followed steps used for a Generic Month setup. I exported the quarters cube and read back to assign the 28 real quarters we are tracking to the four generic quarters I have defined. However, when I go to use Generic Quarter in a layout axis the error "Cannot run requested analysis" is shown. This leads me to think I need to export and read back in the day cube and if that is correct my question is what formula to use in the ETL is best for this?

Going to answer my own question, in case it is helpful to someone else in the future. My mistake was exporting the Day cube rather than the Day tree. Reading TreeA007.csv (in our case) brings in a usable quarter representation to which an ETL can be applied.
