Applying rule doesn't work

Hi all,

I use a procedure to fill the basic values in my balance sheet dataview. The procedure looks like c=a*b where a is an another cube and b is a mapping cube. This works fine so far. 

F.e. cube c:
 
Entity "Balance Sheet" -

[1]asset a - 100 
[2]asset b - 200

I created a rule based on the basic values to calculate some other values and applied it in my balance sheet cube.

F.e. [3] Total Assets = [1]+[2] 

Unfortunatally it doesn't work. Means [3] Total Assets remains empty.

Has anybody any idea, how to solve it?

just to get you right, where do you apply the rule? In the dataflow or in a dataview on the screen?
