Hiding Filtered Out Field

I have a list of values that by default I have filtered out "Project".  Standard Board functionality has this field turn gray and places it at the bottom of the list to indicate that it's not selected.

imageBecause this is an outdated field, is it possible to remove this field altogether from the view using Design Mode?  If not, what would be a feasible alternative?

Thank you,
-Nick

    Hello @Nicholas Lupica,

first of all, you might want to de-select the member "Project" in the screen-selection. The second step would be to set the selector's properties to show active members, only:

Hope, this helps (Don't be mislead by the fact that the entity is called "Project" in this example).

    Kind Regards,
    Helmut

    We have the same request.

We try the option "show only active members" but it's a bit tricky for end users because when they click on 1 active member to desactivate this member, then this member will also disappear from the selector list and they don't really understand why that can no longer see it and re- enable it.

I think he is looking for a feature that does not exist in Board where in the designer mode he has more flexbility to control exactly which entity members users are allowed to play with on a specific screen vs entity members that are forbidden.-------------------------------------------

    Hi @Julien CARDON,

then, there are two possibilities to flag those members:
    1. use an additional entity in the entities' hierarchy as an attribute meaning active/inactive
    2. use a cube to flag active members
Then, apply a selection using this "active"-flag.

    Kind Regards,
    Helmut

    Helmut,

Thank you so much for your help.  That was a quick and easy solution for my issue! Hopefully, Julien can use your second response as a solution but I'll consider this ticket closed.  If there's anything to follow-up with I'll ask here.

    Thank you!
