How to calculate Week to Date vs Week to Date LY

Dear Community, 

How do I accurately calculate Week-to-Date comparisons between current year and last year, for the current week?

At the moment, I can only get it to compare current Week-to-Date to the full Week-to-Date previous year. This is incorrect. 

The question has been asked before but it has not been answered so I'm also stuck on this problem. 

Does anyone know how to do this? ?

Hello Alicia Meredith-Smith,

if you want compare the current Week-to-Date with the Previous Year's Week-to-Date, you need to do a day-level comparison.

To do this, you have two ways:

1. Screen Selection on Day Entity up to current day
2. Calculate a cube week-level which insert the value up to the same day of the Preovious Year
