Documentation on how to migrate from Board from 10.1.3 to 10.7

Hi,

Is there a step by step instruction guide for upgrading Board from 10.1.3 to version 10.7 ?

Can Board version 10.1.3 be directly upgraded to version 11.3 ?

Please advise

Dear @Vincent Dsouza,

the upgrade, besides the installation itself, requires just a few IIS configuration to take advantage of some web features for which you can follow 10.6 Upgrade instructions:

Of course a full regression test in always highly recommended.

Thanks Leone, I have signed up for e-learning and plan to take the course E-LEARNING TUTORIAL: INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION (AD01) .

However would like to know if Board can be directly upgraded from version 10.1.3 to 11.3?

Hi Leone,

If Board has its own database and Application server then configuring Board Web services instead of IIS would be an ideal scenario because all 3 products are from the same vendor.

In what scenarios would it be best to pick IIS over Board Web Services as a Web server?

yes, you can upgrade to B11 or B2021 Spring Release directly from any B10 version
