Use data flow to write result of rule to infocube

Hello, when I apply a rule to a block in a data flow, the calculated rows do not get written to the output infocube. Is there any way around this?

Eg; I have a rule

1: Units
2: Gross per Unit
3: Gross [=1*3]

But when I run a dataflow with this rule, the value of 3 does not get written to the output cube.

Nevermind, I have found the problem is with the sparcity of my cubes.

I assume you are working in version 10, so you had to set the rile dimension as dense.
