Apply Rule to Algorithm Block

How can apply a rule to an algorithm block?

I need the rule to calculated on cell values after the algorithm is applied, instead of the rule applying the underlying cubes, then pulling across to the algorithm block.

Hey Mark,

Have you tried to configure the "Rule" as a specific block in layout? As far as I understood it is not possible to apply rules on an algorithm-block.

Rules can only be applied on a "data"/Infocube-block or you create a specific "rule-block". 

The rule-block is then using the data from the left block next to the rule block - this could be an algorithm.

In addition you can try to use Nexel-functionalities. Here you can calculate with specific cells like in Excel. This is working actually quite good in our scenarios and this what our users started to do...

When it comes to Nexel you need a completely static setup within the layout... This can be an issue...
