It would be very useful to have some enhancements to the suggested value functionality for data entry.  It is difficult to enter data quickly with the current functionality as each cell requires a click and select from a list. 

 

It would be extremely helpful for users having to do large amounts of data entry on suggested values to allow Copy/Paste and/or free text entry with Auto-fill.  A setting of the Auto-fill would be either accept new entries outside of the suggested values list or not.  If the value entered doesn’t match a suggested value, there could be a setting to show an error or warning message notifying the user.

    Great news, we introduced a Smart Import object in summer 2022 release.
