BOARD 10.7 is now available!

What's New in Board 10.7

BOARD 10.7 includes several new web objects, functionality, improvements on the engine processes and a huge set of fixes.
Below some of the new available features: 

New chart objects: 
  -  Gantt chart
  -  Tree node
  -  SVG Map
  -  Geo Map 
Impact Analysis: new tool that allows to view the relationships between all objects and structures that constitute a Board application
Full text search dialog: A new search function to index the text contained in the capsules and presentations
BOARD API: APIs to facilitate data integration with other systems
Reporting: improvements on the reporting functions
Pending data entry warning: the web application warns the user if there is a pending data entry at any layout request
Block formatting enhancements: color and thickness of the block headers can now be customized
Engine improvements: revision and enhancement of the management of concurrent processes

UPDATE (23/10/2020)
The Installer packages of the WEB HTML5 Server and the BOARD Engine have been updated.
The new installers include fixes for the following topics:

    - a correction on the SAP readers called from a procedure
    - a fix on the data-entry triggers configured on the dataview object
    - a fix on text datareader with source files located in the shared storage folder of the BOARD Cloud instances
    - a correction on the native BOARD backup functionality
    - a graphical malfunction on the new tree object has been corrected
    - a display issue of the drill through pop-up window has been corrected
    - an exception generated by the flatten groups configuration on dataviews has been fixed

The Installer packages have been updated.
The new installers include fixes for the following topics:

    - a malfunction on the flatten settings of the dataview object has been corrected
    - a fix on the refer-to function used in dataflows
    - an exception during the connect through the https protocol using the add-in has been fixed
    - a malfunction of the native backup function has been corrected
     - deprecated prerequisites have been removed from the Office Add-in Installers

New 10.7.0.1 Patch available!
The new installers include fixes for the following topics:

    - a malfunction on the flatten settings of the dataview object has been corrected

    - a malfunction in the data-entry pattern based on configuration has been fixed

    - a review of the lock dataview function on totals and algorithms

    - optimizations of the execution of a set of specific dataflows and selections triggered during a procedure has been included

    - a malfunction on the migration of the SQLite collaboration database has been fixed

    - a set of fixes for the broadcasting-like features has been included

    - writeback in data-entry is now available for the Vertica ODBC native driver

    - a fix for the formatted text displayed on a dyna-write object has been included

    - a malfunction in searching the suggested values in dataviews has been fixed

    - a fix for the data-entry log has been included

    - the generic "cannot find the path specified" error message on the admin portal has been replaced by the effective exception generated by the procedure launcher tool

New 10.7.0.3 Patch available!
The new installers include fixes for the following topics:
   

- A malfunction where locked cells in Excel could be modified with a data entry action has been corrected

    - An issue that caused the Excel Add-in to disappear after a recent Windows update has been fixed 

    - Copy-paste issues caused by target cells being locked have been fixed 

    - Several regressions on validation rules have been fixed and they now work as expected  

    - A malfunction where not all values were saved after a massive data-entry has been resolved 

    - A malfunction where a Dataflow from a cube with 2 dimensions to a cube with 3 dimensions resulted in wrong results has been resolved 

    - An issue with "Clear cube" procedure steps that slowed down the entire procedure has been resolved 

    - A display issue with tooltips overlapping text has been resolved

    - In a Data View with data entry enabled and suggested value set on entity, double clicking on a cell and selecting a suggested value caused all Screen Objects to freeze. This issue has been fixed

    - Nexel. The CrossView functionality now works also when combined with Deepest Entity Rule 

    - Unexpected logouts. An error that caused random logouts from a Platform has been fixed

New 10.7.0.3 Patch available!
The new installers include fixes for the following topics:

    - A malfunction of the native backup function has been corrected
    - An issue that caused the layout configuration to disappear in procedures has been solved
    - An issue that caused the loss of some configuration of the procedure steps has been solved

Board Client version 10.7 can connect to a server running Board Server 10.7 only, it is therefore required to update all Board Client and Office Add-in installations.
