You may copy or move databases and capsules from Board cloud to your computer and vice versa: 

  • If you need to upload a database to cloud environments, copy the database on the Z: shared drive with the SAS URI and restore it from the BOARD service.
  • If you need to move a database from sandbox to production or vice versa, create a backup to Z: from sandbox and then restore it from drive Z: to production. The shared drive between the two environments is the same.
  • If you need to download a database from cloud environments, create a backup to Z: shared driver from production and save it on your computer with the SAS URI.
  • If you have a power user or developer license you can copy the capsules using the client command ""save capsule as"".
  • If you need to move all capsules from sandbox to production or vice versa, download the capsules on your computer from the Sandbox Admin Portal Capsule Organizer and then upload the capsules from your computer to Production Admin Portal - Capsule Organizer.
