"Expand Above" in Data View
Hello,
Version: B12.6
In data views with more than one entity per row, headers are automatically added for each entity used. Like so:
However, if we want to have the summation going down, a subtotal at the bottom is required. This means that we end up with an empty header row, which just takes up space.
My recommendation is to have a check box somewhere that enables the flipping of expansion. If we had the ability to flip this expansion so that is expanded above, then I could use the "View Totals on Expanded Groups" functionality to get my subtotals.
Thanks!

Hi Alex, thank you for sharing your idea. We appreciate the time and effort you put into crafting your suggestion.
Would you be able to share more context and an additional example for us to get more clarity on the use case please.
Sharing a manual link as I think it might help:
This is a flag which simulates the unbalanced hierarchy even if you do not have an unbalanced hierarchy. The first header should disappear as it's only apparent with 1 cube.0
