Codes and customer description in multiple columns.
Need to bring codes and descriptions in axes of the layout separately as individual items rather than single item. The requirement is to have the codes and descriptions of the multiple entities in separate columns rather than code or desc or both in 1 column for each entity in the axes. This also resolves the sequencing issue of keeping certain entities next to one another in a logical sense while trying to achieve the same by keeping entity as blocks (which sometimes requires creation of extra text cubes to get the desired layout)

Hi!
had this idea also months ago - we are getting this request more and more often. I know this functionality from QlikView, where the column had a small "button" —> like the arrow for sorting. and via that one the user was able to switch how the dimension should be displayed. only code, only description, both or both separated into two columns.
Regards
Barbara

Thank you for sharing your idea, @Rajitha Samanthi. We appreciate the time and effort you put into crafting your suggestion.
Great news, you can achieve what you need by an Entity block as shown in the screenshot below. Here you can add code or description or both. Read more on the manual here:
The suggestion to make it more interactive, we have accepted this Idea to be part of our backlog and we are evaluating the feasibility of adding it to the development roadmap. We are committed to delivering the best possible experience to our customers, and we must prioritize the features and enhancements that will have the most significant impact on your daily use of our software.
