Deleting entity elements made easy

Options

There is already a guide on "How to remove obsolete entity members". However, this process should be much easier. It would be great if entity members can be deleted easily by hand. Especially, in big databases that would be a huge relief because it wouldn't be necessary to reload the entity and cubes.
As a bonus, it would be great if you receive an information if this element is hierarchical linked to avoid corrupted hierarchies :)

I agree that cleaning entities is a real problem : too difficult even if we understand tha implications of such cleaning
It would be nice to have an automatic process allowing us to choose the entities to be cleaned : th process would then clear, for instance, memebers with no facts

It seems that even having the possibility to manually delete entities is causing more harm than good when their "ghost" remains in the entity and causes issues (for example, any hardcoded selection or block reference on any member afterwards will be broken once the entity is cleared and reloaded).

I would prefer that there is no trashbox icon next to the members that provides this quick way to remove members on the surface, but almost always causes issues on the long run.
