Appearance of inline buttons in dataview on the web
Anyone has an idea how to make inline buttons on the web look like "real" buttons?
Unfortunately the web version does not allow to have gradient colors on the custom block formatting. This is what I used in the past to create a 3D effect. Without that, the button looks like a regular text field and it's often hard for the user to determine whether there is a function/drill behind or not.

Hello @Pascal,
thank you for sharing your idea. We appreciate the time and effort you put into posting this message.
It is true that at the moment this is currently not possible.
From your message I can see 2 possible ideas for improvement:
- adding gradient coloring to the Alerting and Formatting of blocks
- Improving the "Button" display option of blocks to distinguish them more from other text fields ; at the moment that only drives the appearance of the pointer when hovering the cell;
The best would be to raise these as an idea on our Idea Exchange section , so that based on upvotes and other users' feedbacks we can properly prioritize it and add it to our backlog.
Thanks again.
The Product Management team.
