Community Voices are meant to educate, enable, and inspire members to do their best work, plan smarter, and succeed faster. We're delighted to bring you the next iteration of Community Voices—Ask Me Anything (AMA). As an extension of our connected Community, the AMA is an opportunity to send your questions directly to our panelists.

Maximizing the Benefits of Board

For quick reference, listen to specific topics covered here:
8:45 What does Maximizing the benefits of Board mean to you?
14:20 Leveraging Board to its fullest extent
17:50 What does ‘great’ look like for the overall adoption and delivery of Board?
23:52 Can you give an example of a problem/challenge a customer experienced, which was solved with an out-of-the-box solution?
28:12 What would you pinpoint is the most important aspect (for developers) to take in to account early in the development phase, that can have major impact on the final result?
31:18 What changed in recent years at Board in terms of "Product Philosophy", and in what ways does it match your customer needs better?
35:27 Could you provide insights into Board's roadmap or integrating AI and ML? Additionally, what are the primary use cases that will be prioritized once these initial steps are implemented?
39:27 What does the process look like when evaluating posted ideas in Community? How many are working with development of the ideas? Why is the new Board version called “14” and not “13”?
45:03 If you had to identify one distinctive strength of "Board" in comparison to OneStream, Workday, Adaptive Planning, Pigment, and Anaplan, what particular benefit sets it apart and allows you to maximize your potential further than other?
48:33 What Board feature do you think is the most overlooked?
50:35 How do customer achieve the maximum benefits of Board through who, and how, they regularly interact?

Could you provide insights into the Board's roadmap for integrating AI and ML? Additionally, what are the primary use cases that will be prioritized once these initial steps are implemented?

  • Questions about maximizing the benefits of Board:

    1. If you had to identify one distinctive strength of "Board" in comparison to OneStream, Workday, Adaptive Planning, Pigment, and Anaplan, what particular benefit sets it apart and allows you to maximize your potentiel further than other?
    2. If you were to pinpoint a single area where Board may lag behind OneStream, Workday, Adaptive Planning, Pigment, and Anaplan, what specific aspect stands out as its relative weakness?
    3. Is on-premise - a key distinctive features compare to other tools - still a requested options by customer in the past year?
