Excel Clipboard like capability while copy pasting the data from Excel to Board Dataview

Hi Team,

the copy paste from excel to Board keeps only the values that are actually visualized into the Excel cell.

e.g if you copy cell showing 1.2 into Board, then it will copy 1.2 only.

But the cell may have a value like "1.22343242353452".

This is the issue when we were working with client where they see data in Millions, and even copy paste the data from excel in Millions. And this small difference creates the huge difference in Total.

Excel uses its own clipboard hence excel can copy the full numbers beyond decimals into another excel sheet.

That's pretty standard behaviour with the clipboard and a known limitation from my point of view. The same happens when you copy an Excel cell's value into Notepad.

In such cases, I'd recommend using the Excel AddIn or the Smart Import Object.

I'm pretty sure there's no way to access Excel's own clipboard.
