SVG-Icons for Entities
I suggest the possibility to add own SVG icons to entities.
This makes it possible to display them instead of or in addition to code/description in selectors, diagrams and dataviews. This option is particularly interesting for grouping entities, workflow entities or other static entities.
It is important that these can be imported using an ASCII data reader.

Hello Björn,
yes you are right. Unicode characters are a possible workaround.
I think using unicode characters have three disadvantages.
- You can't create your own. So maybe there exists no fitting unicode or you don't like the style.
- Look different depending on operating-System of the user.
- It block your description-field. I want to choose between
- Code
- Description
- Icon
- Code + Description
- Icon + Code
- Icon + Description
I think it give us more flexibility to design our applications.

I just wanted to give a possibilty, to reach a similar behavior with the current version.
I understand your points (in fact I used a new parent entity to still have code and desc for my normal one).
For me the advantage of unicode is the size compared to icons.
I assume with some "tricks" you also might get the desired result already with icons, for sure, it will create a huger workload for the developer of the board application
regards
Björn
