What does the SAP Note 3255746 say?
SAP Note 3255746 was updated on February 2, 2024, and now states that “the usage of RFC modules of the Operational Data Provisioning (ODP) Data Replication API by customer, or third-party applications to access SAP ABAP sources (On-Premise[s] or Cloud Private Edition) is NOT permitted by SAP.” *

What is the impact to Board customers using the Board SAP Connector by Theobald Software?
This doesn't impact every Board customer using the Board SAP Connector by Theobald Software, but it does affect those customers relying on the ODP component for data extraction and replication.
If you are using the Board SAP Connector by Theobald Software to collect data from SAP, Board and Theobald Software encourage you to verify if the note is in conflict with your existing license agreements and your access rights to SAP data.
