I still cannot progress with level 300 part 1, question 4. I do not get the same numbers at all and even after trying to sum up the numbers on the screen, I cannot progress.

The screen should have a dynamic selection on Year
That would restrict the months in your DataView to those that are relevant here. And then you should see data.
PS: I'm currently working on a project so I could maybe answer your questions here, but not in a call.
