L300 Module 310 - The Sales Data View on the Scenario Planning screen does not populate with data
I've checked my steps but for some reason the Sales data view on the Scenario Planning screen does not populate. Expenses, P&L LC and P&L GBP populates fine. What can be the cause please?

Hi @Willie Arnoldi ,
please doublecheck that the "Extend" on the dataflow to populate the scenario planning for sales should only be on the entity "Scenario", all other dimensions are present in target and source and don't need an extension.

Hi @Willie Arnoldi ,
can you please share screenshots of the dataflows that populate the sales?
And the selections could help, too.
Thanks,

Hi @Helmut Heimann , please let me know if the screen captures above will suffice? I'm busy with the functional testing section for module 310.

Hello @Willie Arnoldi ,
that's almost sufficient. The problem might be in the dataflow step 18, where the sales data should be populated, the others, I understood, work correctly. Can you please provide a screenshot of that dataflow, specifically the "Extend" section—do you extend the target "Scenario Sales Planning" on the scenario?
If that's all set correctly, please provide a screenshot of the debugger directly after step 18, displaying a dataview similar to the dataflow (source and target).

Hello @Helmut Heimann
Yes I expand on all tuples.
One thing I should have mentioned, is that I experienced difficulty when Approving the submitted plan (before using the Scenario Planning screen) - I received a yellow "…bad gateway…" message, and some time after that, a red "Service Unavailable" error. When I looked at the status of the submission It was Approved, so I thought it eventually processed correctly, but maybe it didn't?

Hello @Willie Arnoldi ,
since your dataview filters on the status, it might perhaps help to "approve" again?

Ok, I tried Approving it again, but it says the plan has already been approved, so it would seem that the status is correct.

Hello @Willie Arnoldi ,
ok, could you then please provide the above mentioned screenshot of the debugging/dataview?

Hi @Helmut Heimann , I see there is a problem (maybe a new one) that occurs in step 4, Selecting the Source Scenario - it doesn't give me any options to select from….

ok, @Willie Arnoldi , then could you place a "remove selection on entity" for the scenario right before the interactive selection as new step 3?
Best,.

Hi @Helmut Heimann , thank you, this worked. I can now select the Scenario.
I'm running the functional test again from the beginning - still getting the "502 Bad Gateway" error when I Approve the submission. I will let you know of the outcome as soon as the processing is completed.

Hi @Helmut Heimann , I see that I am getting an error message of why the procedure failed - Extend Limit exceeded (from Messages, top right menu)
