What’s New in our Board Knowledge Base
To help you get the most out of your experience, this guide explains how to navigate our updated Knowledge Base, understand version-specific content, and get familiar with updated terminology. Whether you're new or returning, here’s everything you need to know to quickly find accurate and relevant information.
Why This Update?
With the evolution of Board 14, our priority has been to consolidate all documentation into a single, unified Knowledge Base. This updated structure allows you to easily access relevant information across different versions of the platform—whether it’s changes in behavior, new features, or updated processes. No more switching between multiple sources—everything you need is now in one place.
How to Navigate the Updated Knowledge Base
By default, the Knowledge Base displays content based on the latest available version of Board.
When an article includes information that varies between versions, you’ll see a purple heading titled "This article contains version changes" along with this icon: 💡.
Within these articles, you’ll find accordion sections that can be expanded to reveal specific version differences.
If you're using a version earlier than the latest release, simply expand the relevant accordion sections to find the information that applies to your version of Board.
Understanding the Updated Personas
As part of our effort to modernize and align terminology, the persona names have been updated. While the roles and responsibilities remain the same, the labels have changed:
- End User → Planner
- Administrator → Admin
- Developer → Maker or Builder
These new labels aim to better reflect how each persona interacts with the platform today.
