Block showing only sum total

Hi everyone,

Is it possible for a block in data view to only display the sum total? I've tried using the algorithm rt(j) but the variance total is incorrect, i.e. I want the total variance to be -7,425.5k, not 325,424.6k. If I take away 'Detail by Month' in block j, the variance calculation is wrong. In essence, how can I display block j as only the total of -7,425.5k, please? Thanks in advance.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but I can probably say for certain that you can use Nexel to achieve this.

I'm just not sure if it's the optimal solution for your needs.

I hope you are doing well !

Not sure it will work on your specific case but when I put 2 cubes with detail by month and an algorithm making the variance , the way I use to get the total is to just put a last algo block pointing to the variance example :

Here my variance C = a-b (gross shipped LY-Gross Sales) then I do a new algorithm D = C n it automatically do the addition of my detail by month algorithm
