Run an SqL data reader on the current selection

Hello,

I'm running a data reader from a procedure with the YEAR (called Année) selection. I would like to scope the data based on the current year (selected when the data reader is run). Below the SqL command. I guess I should write something in the "Where" section. I tried with @Année which did not work. Thank you very much for your help.

Dear @Nathan,

variables or substitution formulas are not supported in a SQL query. Since you are running this datareader from a procedure, you can leverage the option "Use current selection" and read these periods in a dedicated cube to drive the select. Using this option, the step will read data only related to the months included in the active selection. If the chosen protocol is configured with the “Replace” option, the data reader will only consider those members who are in the active selection.

Otherwise you can go for a less dynamic approach using SQL function to select the current year or the last few months.

Thank you for your answer. I would like to make sure I understood well, so please find below the technical implementation. From the below screen shot I must :

SqL query : delete the where left (dbo……
Turn the load method to REPLACE TIMESLICE
Activate the "use current selection" in the data reader run from the procedure

IE. Let's assume the current year is 2025, the LOAD_ACTUAL cube will be cleared on all the YEAR=2025 sparses to be replaced by the data from the data reader. Only the the 2025 data will be received ? I have a lot of data so I can not read all data for all years. I must limit the scope to one specific year.
