Procedure: Extend Calculation on new tuple for all members

We have a source cube (Input Cube) as shown below with dimensions highlighted:

We have a target cube as shown below with its dimensions highlighted:

How does "Extend calculation on new tuples for all members" affect when we are copying data from source to target cube? What happens if we select all/ any of the members and what happens if we do not? How is the data flow affected?

Regarding your question at hand, it would be better to see the overview section of the dataflow, because there is all you need to know about the source- and target dimensions (better than 3 separate images).

From what I can see in your post, I would assume that you will only need to extend on "Plan Entity ABC".

Did you select an appropriate member of that entity before the Dataflow?
