Hi,

I don't understand the procedure : SET - Flag Budget and Actual Years

In particular, the calculation of the data flow when the time function is selected on "Last value" in the cube "SET - DE - Planning Year".

What does that mean ? What is the result if for exemple the value in the cube is SET - DE - Planning Year is selected on 2023 ?

Can you tell me where I can find the properties of time functions in the manuals ?

I'm not sure if I can make it understand, just giving it a try.

What "Last Value" Means in This Context

When using the Time Function = Last value, Board will:

• Evaluate only the last (chronologically latest) non-zero cell of the cube within the time range and current selection.
• This function is commonly used to retrieve or flag the most recent period with a value.

So if the cube SET - DE - Planning Year contains only 2023:

• "Last value" will return 2023, as it's the last (and only) non-zero year.

If the cube has values in both 2023 and 2024, Last value will return 2024.

This is often used in planning logic to dynamically set flags (e.g., "Budget year = 2023") based on the latest selected or configured year.
