We experienced an unexpected issue with our security profiles and the only thing we can connect it to is our installation of Board 14 onto our on-prem environment.
Before filing a ticket with support, I wanted to reach out to the community, see if anyone else experienced it, if this is a known issue, etc.
Basically, after our installation of Board14, when users began coming into our system to prepare for their upcoming forecasting period, we found that everyone who did not have an admin license got locked out with the error message "Access Denied. You are not authorized to access this database."
After some digging and testing, we found that the System Admin Profiles, although looked the same as before, did not in fact connect to the data security profiles. We needed to delete the connected security profile, and recreate the connection. Then users were able to get back into the system.
Is this a known issue? Have others experienced this?
