Hello,
For several weeks we have the problem, that the Board frontend stops working for some time (often 1 or 2 minutes), so it does not answer any questions from the client any more.
When this happens, all users are blocked. They are not locked out, only the requests to the Board reports, running at the moment, seem to be froozen without any visible progress.
In the ressoure monitor of the windows server, running the Board Engine, you see no abnormalities, while the problem exists. Then suddenly the CPU in the ressoure monitor jumps up for some seconds and after that all of the Board clients get the reports and visualizations, for which they are waiting the whole time.
It is like a traffic jam, clearing itself suddenly after a view minutes, without any remarkable cause.
If you look into the logs of the Windows server, running the Board Engine, you find always then the problem happens, the event ID 7011 from Service Control Manger in the system protocol with the German message:
"Das Zeitlimit (30000 ms) wurde beim Warten auf eine Transaktionsrückmeldung von Dienst BoardEngine erreicht."
Translated: "Timeout (30000 ms) waiting for a transaction response from the BoardEngine service."
Our internal IT support already lifted up the timeout limit of the Windows Server to 60s. After that the problem still occurs, but now of course with a new description in the Windows logs, refering to a timeout limit of 60000 ms.
Our IT checks some possible originis of the phenomenon at the moment, but perhaps someone in the Board community had some similar occurences - perhaps also with the version 14.2.
We run Board on a virtual machine and often two or three dozens of users are working in the environment at the same time. The update status of the Windows Server is not outdated.
Many thanks for a short answer.
