Hi all,

i have a question about counting the rejected value

for example, if i have a cube with 2 dimension (Time and Elements) and i want to load a csv file below

to be clear, the cube is already populated in this way (without Element D)

Using the data reader, 1 valid record and 1 rejected value were identified, and the cube remains unchanged

can someone explain to me pls?

from my perspective the rejected value should be 4 as the number in the csv file

Hi @andreaLin....

that column displays the number of records, not the row number.

So your first set "_028" had 17 records read and imported (validated), the second "_031" had 1 record read and 0 imported.

In order to find out what's the error with importing, you'd need to check the log file.

are you referring to the number in the error message like here "[Rec.001] Error : RBT1825 New Item Found on column 1 [0051002000]"?

Well, I'm afraid, that is not always as clearly identifiable as one might suppose.

But, the other columns in the error-log identify the correct row that has been read as they state the entity members and the columns they were assigned to in the datareader. So you'd better compare those to evaluate the error you get.

i m referring to the column in the Log Section of the Datamodel (recordNr / Validated/ Rejected). So there is not error message in my case
as you can see the second row is the case i'm trying to discuss before
