Level 200: Module 211, regarding the "Budget is Locked" label that we put on the screens

Can someone walk me through the logic of how this works? I've tested mine and it all works, for example the "Functional test of the solution" asked me to lock italy. Then I go to the sales planning screen and toggle to Italy then it shows the "Budget is Locked" caption.

Great! But there's no way I could recreate this on my own, not following the Value and Action block and the Dynamic Options within Object Settings.

1) Value Block:

• A cube stores the lock status (e.g., 1 = Locked, 0 = Unlocked).
• When you perform the “Lock” action (such as locking Italy), this cube is updated with the corresponding value.

2) Action Block:

• The action updates the lock status cube for the selected entity (in your example, Italy).
• This ensures that whenever Italy is toggled, the system knows it is marked as “Locked.”

3) Dynamic Options in Object Settings:

• On the Sales Planning screen, the label “Budget is Locked” is linked to the lock status cube.
• Using dynamic options, the caption is only displayed when the cube value = 1.
• If the cube value = 0, the label remains hidden.

So in short, the system works by recording the lock status in a cube, updating it via an action, and conditionally displaying the label through dynamic object settings.

This way, whenever you toggle to a country (e.g., Italy), the system checks the cube value and shows or hides the “Budget is Locked” label accordingly.
