Hi - so after creating this pie chart, it displays the split by city accordingly, but is the split based on GBP revenue? That's the logical way to show this, but how does it know to display it appropriately by using the GBP revenue (data block a) rather than LC revenue, when both countries Italy and UK are selected? I didn't specify anywhere, so is it by default that it will always choose data block a in the absence of more info?

I'm just trying to understand how the logic works.

That's a great question about the underlying logic!

The short answer is yes, your assumption is correct: the pie chart defaults to using Data Block "a" (the GBP revenue cube) because it is defined as the primary data source.

This is standard behavior: when you configure a visualization with multiple data blocks, the system prioritizes the first block (ACT - DF - Sales GBP in this case) for rendering the chart's size/split, unless a specific instruction tells it otherwise.

Since you have not specified a dynamic logic (like linking it to the Currency Selector on the dashboard), and both the UK and Italy are selected, the chart uses the data from Block "a" to display the "split by city."

If you need the chart to dynamically switch between GBP and LC based on a user's currency selection, you'll need to implement that specific switching logic (often via procedures or screen properties) to control which data block is active.
