From what I can see in your "Expense Actuals" report, the good news is that your variance and variance % calculations appear to be working perfectly based on the CY and PY numbers shown. That means the setup of your final report screen is likely correct!

This usually means the difference in values is happening before the data even gets to this report. Let's dig a bit deeper into the data-loading and conversion process.

To help me pinpoint the exact issue, could you please share a few more screenshots?

1. The Staging Screen: Can you show me the "Expense Data Upload" screen right after you've run "1. Load data" for Italy? This shows us the raw data before currency conversion.
2. The FX Rates: Could you share a screenshot of your "FX Rates" screen? I just want to double-check the exchange rates you have entered for EUR. An incorrect rate here is a very common reason for different final numbers.
3. The Conversion Procedure: This one is the most important! Can you go into the Data Model procedure named ACT – Expense Data Publish and take a screenshot of the Dataflow step that does the GBP conversion? It's the one with the expression a*b.

Once I can see those three things, I'm confident we can figure out what’s causing the different results. We're almost there!
