Level 300, Module 306 : Facing issues in 306 functional test Q2

Hi Team,

I am facing issue in 306 Functional testing Q2 after data entry for - Office salaries, Office Technology Software & Hardware and Global marketing Campaign in the Expense planning page.

After following all the instructions and removing the flag from 6400 wages the following are my results:

Office Technology Software: 16,228

Office Technology Hardware: 6,406

Global marketing Campaigns: 54,663

Officer salaries: 70,037.

Also content and totals for CY is also coming out to be incorrect : 931,908

Based on the screenshots and the details you shared, the likely root cause of the issue is that the “PLN – Indirect Costs Allocation” procedure was either not executed, not completed properly, or was altered before reviewing the CY values in the Expense Planning screen.

This procedure contains multiple dependent steps using temporary cubes and data flows to calculate and allocate indirect expenses, including:

Office Technology Software & Hardware

Global Marketing Campaigns

Officer Salaries

If the procedure is not fully executed, or if intermediate steps (e.g., temporary cube logic) fail to calculate due to missing or incorrect context, the Expense Planning values may appear incomplete or outdated.

Additionally, ensure that the “PLN – Initialize Planning” procedure was executed in the correct context. If filters like month or year were misaligned during execution, the temporary cubes may not populate as expected, leading to incorrect or missing allocations.

Please also confirm:

That the flag on 6400 – Wages was removed and data entry was saved properly before running allocation.

That the entity selections (Month, Year, Currency, Account, etc.) are fully populated and aligned—since CY values depend on those filters.

Yes there were some issues in the PLN - Initialize Planning procedure, regarding block reference not applying. Other than that everything is configured as required for the functional test.

But still facing the issue even now, just that the numbers are different now.

The flag on 6400 was removed and data entry was also saved.
The entity selections are also fully populated.
