Selection by a cube

Hi, I have a screen selection by a cube.

When I do another selection on the same hierarchy / relationship it removes the cube selection.

Hotel is part of a country

I select through a cube all active hotels.

When I now select only some countries it shows inactive and active hotels because the cube selection has been removed.

Is this logic?

Hello Maik

When you do a static selection and a dynamic selection on the same tree, board can't keep both and consider only the last and not the intersection.

Hi Maik, as Bjorn says a static selection will always override a dynamic selection, your best bet is to make the static selection first and then apply your Select Based on Cube with "Keep Mode" ticked. Dynamic selections with Keep Mode ticked will always preserve any existing selection on the entity or tree and will apply the new selection within that context, so you can either apply a static selection and then a select based on, or multiple select based on statements in sequence to refine a selection.
