What do the Longitude and Latitude do for Map Areas?

Hi there,

I'm currently trying to use the Map-Feature more often. Espacially shapes. In the options for Map Areas I can choose shape name, Latitude and Longitude. But what exactly do the latter two do?

As far as I understand it, all the relevant coordinates for areas are in the json-file you uploud into the Map-Object.

Sadly the board manual doesn't give any explanation.

Hi Oliver, I haven't really used it much to be honest but the functionality is explained here https://help.board.com/docs/create-an-openstreetmap?highlight=map%20area , basically the Map Areas are used with the JSON file loaded in. See if that link helps, if not let me know and I'll see if any of my colleagues have used that functionality before.

Thank you for your reply, but this doesn't answer my question. The manual only describes how to use coordinate-cubes in general. But it doesn't clarify what those cubes do specifically in the context of Map-Areas
