Sort the Months in a Selector - Descending Order

Hi all,

Is there a way to sort the Months in a selector with the current month on top and in a descending order?

The default is it's sorted in ascending order i.e. very old dates on the top, which is not user friendly as we want to present the latest periods the moment they open the selectors.

When using a selector, you have an option to show the selected period on top, but other members still show below it in grey and user would still have to scroll. You can consider few alternate options to limit the selection and improve user experience

1. You can use a pager which has an option to select a default member as current period or prior period to start with
2. If you have the current period or the reporting month in a cube, you can use this cube in the dynamic selection of the Fiscal Year or Year entity. This way the periods get limited to that Fiscal Year or Year
