Flexgrid - Column groupings disappear when I choose multiple Fiscal Years

I have Board 14.5

Column groupings work when I'm just looking at FY25 for example:

Column groups in pivot mode are: Fiscal Year → Quarter → Month

But as soon as I choose FY24 and FY25, the < or > to ungroup or group disappear, and everything is displayed by month with no options to group.

Okay so after discussing with a colleague it seems this is a known limitation due to the way in which the Flex Grid component works, if your layout returns < 100K rows then the component handles it browser side, but over 100k rows and the processing takes place server side, this unfortunately means that expanding and collapsing column groups is only available if your layout returns less than 100k rows, this is detailed here

Okay I've managed to recreate your issue, it seems to maybe be linked to the number of entities used in the layout (not necessarily used in the pivot itself, the original layout). For me it's triggering when I go from 5 to 6 entities used in the layout, but whether it's the number of entities or the cumulation of their max item numbers I can't say for sure. Let me enquire as to whether there's a known limitation.

Hi Emil, thanks for trying. Do your settings look the same as mine when you set it up? I'll try amending my model and see what happens if I have 3 entities by row rather than two, same as you have it in case that makes a difference.
