We have a Profit Statement Report that has Reporting Account by row (1st screenshot). It is currently configured to only show Description for this entity, and we do not want to change it to Code + Description for internal reasons. However, we want to give users the ability to drill down / anywhere into the following three dimensions (Cost Center, Account, and Profit Center) and it show Code + Description.
I've configured drill down to default to the Profit Center entity and have set the layout editor to show code + description. This works when a user uses the drill down function (2nd screenshot). However, if a user wants to drill into Account first via drill anywhere, it resets the layout editor to only show description.
In summary, I want to drive users to the drill anywhere function but for any selection to be configured that code + description is shown, regardless of whether profit center, cost center, or account is selected. Is there a way to accomplish this? It seems that if you use drill anywhere first it will always reset to just description.
What I've told users now is to ALWAYS drill down into Profit Center first then drill anywhere into Account since the layout configuration is carried over from the first default drill down option.
I do know that users can manually go into layout editor to change this in axis but I'd prefer to cater this function to them.
