Level 200, Module 204: Initialize Budget button does not work ? #Level 200: Building a Plannin

Hello,

I built an Initialize Budget procedures for sales and it works.

I Then updated the same procedures in order to initialize Sales and expenses budget, but when I click on the button, it only initialize Sales Budget data view.

To Initialize Expenses budget, I had to create a new Initialize budget button in Expenses Screen, it works.

I reviewed the course and I followed the steps required.

How can I fix it please ?

thank you for your reply.

My bad, I copied the text for help request in the wrong module.

I had difficulties here after running back end the updated Initialize Budget procedure

It initialized for the sales (I saw the results and the timestamp, correct)

I built Expense Planning Screen, then copy the timestamp from Sales Planning.

1 - And when I clicked on the Budget Initialization label on Sales Planning screen, it only initialized for sales budget (timestamp updated), Expenses planning datas didn't move, neither the timestamp on the screen.

2 - I reviewed the elements following the steps given after answering 'No' to the first functional test (see picture below). Everything was configured as required. So I didn't know why it doesn't work

3 - I decided to create a Budget initialization label directly on the Expense planning, and it worked : Expense Budget data were correctly displayed and the timestamp also. I chose to move on with it and ask the question in the forum if someone experienced this.

4 - In module 211 I created the budget initialization label in the Budget initialization screen and deleted Budget initialization label on Expense and Sales planning screens. After clicking on the label on Budget initialization screen, Sales and Expense planning screens were correctly initialized and the both timestamp correctly updated.

My training instance application at this point (module 212) is correct.

Do not hesitate if my explication is not clear, I can try to give more informations on issue i faced.

In 204, the only procedure I know is Sales data upload. Budget initialization procedures for Sales planning is in 205, and Budget initialization procedures for Expense planning are in 210.

I checked your progress, and I see you're on module 211.

So, could you please confirm exactly what module and steps you're on?
