API Queries Limitation

What is the rule regarding the data limitations of calling a BOARD API to retrieve data, e.g, what is the best approach to handle big datasets without missing out on any data or that the call fails? Is it possible to use paging?

I've created some endpoints fail after adding a block q in the layout for no particular reason so I am thinking it is due the size of the response

there are different limits for Board API

Dataset:

REST API calls: Dataset Query Known Limitation  - Board Community

Here you'll find an error message in Board Web log (don't remember in which one, sorry)

Dataview:

Same limits as dataview (so if data can be displayed in a Dataview, it can also be used in Dataview API)
