B14 Level 200: Environment Issues

Hi Everyone,

I have the following issues with B14 Level 200:

1)I cannot find the relevant files to populate the entities (like Porduct, Material, etc…)
2)I cannot access Admin Portal (I get the errore PAGE NOT FOUND)

Can anyone help please?

Regarding your first question:

1. "I cannot find the relevant files to populate the entities (like Product, Material, etc.)"

Could you please confirm which of the following you are referring to?

Are you looking for the Excel file that is used in the Data Reader mapping section to map the columns to the entities (Product, Material, etc.)?
Or are you trying to run the Data Reader, but the data is not being imported successfully into the entities?

This will help me better understand where you're encountering the issue.

Regarding your second question:

2. "I cannot access the Admin Portal (Page Not Found)."

This behavior is expected for the training environments. The Admin Portal is not available for Academy training instances and is only accessible for production and sandbox cloud environments.

If your objective is to restart or manage your B14 Level 200 training environment, you can do this directly from the training dashboard:

Open the B14 Level 200 course.
Navigate to the page containing the "Setup the Training Environment" button.
Since your environment has already been created, clicking this button will redirect you to your environment dashboard, where you'll find options such as Start, Stop, Restart, and Reset.

Hi Andrew,

Regarding the file, I’m referring to the CSV file that will be used to populate the entity.

I’m trying to configure the Data Reader, but when I specify the file path (C:\Board\Dataset\Hierarchies and Data), no files are displayed. I’ve also tried using different file patterns, but the folder appears to be empty.

Am I missing something?

Thank you for your update.

Based on the steps you described, after setting the path to:C:\Board\Dataset\Hierarchies and Dataand specifying the pattern: *Product Trees*.csvyou should see the Product Trees.csv file listed below the Hierarchies and Data folder.

To connect the file, please click the connection icon (located to the left of the file name). Once the file is connected, Board will allow you to proceed with configuring the mapping according to the training instructions. After the mapping has been completed correctly, you should be able to continue with the Data Reader configuration.

If you are still unable to see the file, could you please try removing the pattern (*Product Trees*.csv) temporarily and check whether a list of files is displayed in the folder? This will help us determine whether the issue is related to the file pattern or the folder contents.

If the issue persists, could you please share a screenshot of the following?

The Data Reader configuration window after entering the path and pattern.
The contents displayed after selecting the folder.
Any error message (if one appears).

This information will help us better understand what you're seeing and assist you further.

Hi Jeff,

the problem is that I cannot see any files in the specified path (C:\Board\Dataset\Hierarchies and Data), even removing the pattern. The folder seems to be empty.

Thank you for sharing the screenshots.

From the screenshot, I noticed that the Pattern field is currently empty. This is the reason why no files are being displayed under Choose file to connect.

Could you please try the following?

In the Pattern field, enter either:

*.* (to display all files), or
*Product Trees*.csv (as specified in the training guide).

Once you enter the pattern, you should see Product Trees.csv appear under Choose file to connect.

Click the connection icon to the left of Product Trees.csv to connect the file.
After the file is connected, you will be able to proceed to the Mappings step and configure the mappings as described in the training guide.

I've attached a reference screenshot below showing how the configuration should look once the pattern has been entered and the file is displayed.

If the file still does not appear after entering the pattern, please let us know.

We'll be happy to assist you further if needed.

Hi Jeff,

even with the pattern "*.*" I cannot see any files.

I think that the problem is related to the access on the Dataset Folder. As you can see I can reach the C:\Board\ folder (in which I see the Init file):

But If I try to reach the correct folder (C:\Board\Dataset\Hierarchies and Data) I don't see any file:
