We're excited to announce the release of Board 15.1, bringing major enhancements to Board Agents, Operational Forecasting, the Board for Microsoft 365 Excel Add-in, and the Platform, with a strong focus on enterprise AI, planning productivity, and user experience.
What's new in Board 15.1
Smarter and more powerful Board Agents
Board 15.1 introduces significant enhancements to Board Agents, including interactive Agent-generated tables, business-aware semantic understanding through Dataset Attributes, and the new V3 architecture built on the Microsoft Agent Framework, delivering a more scalable, production-ready foundation for enterprise AI deployments. New and expanded Agent capabilities are also available across Supply Chain, Merchandising, FP&A, and Financial Consolidation.

Greater control over Agent versions and licensing
Board 15.1 introduces in-product Agent version management, allowing customers to upgrade on their own schedule while preserving existing configurations. The release also introduces consumption-based Agent licensing using API Credits with centralized monitoring through the Subscription Hub.
Board for Microsoft 365 Excel Add-in
The Board for Microsoft 365 Excel Add-in continues to evolve with improvements to refresh and export experiences, localization, copy and paste capabilities, calculated subtotal aggregation, and expanded availability for more customer environments.

Operational Forecasting enhancements
Operational Forecasting introduces new forecasting capabilities, including ten statistical forecasting algorithms, Covariates, and Hold-out Accuracy Evaluation, along with multi-region support and centralized user management for improved governance and forecasting accuracy.
