Printable Report Export Not Working in Board 14.3

Hello everyone,

We are experiencing some difficulties when exporting a printable report in Board 14.3.

I would like to create a PDF file, but unfortunately, when I select "Export Printable Report" > "PDF" from the top menu, the configuration window does not appear and the screen freezes. All I can see is a loading indicator.

When exporting a single Data View to PDF, the configuration window appears, but it freezes immediately. As a result, I am unable to make any changes or close the window.

Export to Excel works without any problems.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue and can help?

I uploaded a manual font, but that didn't fix the issue. So I'll hand this issue to the support team.

Okay, I'd be lying if I said that meant much to me, however I ran it through Chat GPT and it came out with this "Yes. These look like Board Web is checking the configured font for Export printable report / PDF export, then failing when it tries to download the reporting font. What the sequence means: Log line Meaning /api/ReportingFontFamily/CustomFonts → 200 Board Web asks what custom font options exist. OK. /api/ReportingFontFamily/IsFontConfigured → 200 Board checks whether a reporting/PDF font is configured. OK. /en/open-sans...woff2 → 200 Browser loads the normal web UI font. OK and probably unrelated. /api/ReportingFontFamily/DownloadReportingFont → 400 Board tries to retrieve the configured PDF reporting font, but the request is rejected as invalid. The likely issue is a bad or missing PDF export font configuration, not a browser/PDF engine issue by itself. Board documentation says there are two separate font uploads in Appearance: Font use Expected file type Capsule/web corporate font .woff PDF exported report font .ttf So I would check whether someone uploaded the wrong font type, deleted/corrupted the configured PDF font, or left a stale reference in the reporting font configuration. A .woff/.woff2 web font is not the same as the .ttf font Board expects for PDF export. The browser message net::ERR_ABORTED 400 (Bad Request) is just Chrome/Edge saying “the server returned 400, so this font download request was aborted.” It is probably a symptom, not the root cause. Suggested checks: * Go to System Administration / Appearance / Fonts and re-upload the PDF export font as a valid .ttf. * If no custom PDF font is required, remove/reset the custom reporting font configuration if the UI allows it. * Test PDF export again with a simple screen/report. * If it still fails, check the Board Web/API application logs around the same timestamp for the response body or server-side exception behind DownloadReportingFont. * If this is on-prem, also check that the Board Web app pool/service account can read the stored font file/config location. My strongest hunch: the PDF reporting font setting points to something invalid, missing, or not a .ttf, and PDF export is failing during font preparation." So it looks like you need to raise a ticket and get our Support guys to check whether there's a font issue on that server. Or you can check yourself and see whether there's a custom font set by going here
