Missing File Data Reader

Hi Everyone,

I have the following issues with the replacement of Level 200 Introduction to Data Modeling OnDemand:

I cannot find the relevant files to populate the entities (like Working Hours)

Regarding the file, I’m referring to the CSV file that will be used to populate the Cube Working Hours.

I’m trying to configure the Data Reader, but when I specify the file path (C:\Board\SharedMaterial\DB Training\), no files are displayed. I’ve also tried using different file patterns, but the folder appears to be empty.

Am I missing something?

I have the same issue like Melissa, there are no csv files at all. Logging out and in again does not solve the issue. Rebooting does also not work for me.

Hi Brian,

Thank you for your response.

That issue seems to be resolved; however, I am still unable to RUN the cube because there is no option to select the file among the available columns. I checked whether the column was hidden, but it is actually missing.

How can I resolve this issue?

Hi Melissa,

This is Brian Walker. I hope you are doing well.

Could you please log out of the training instance and then log back in? Once logged in, please open the Data Reader configuration again and enter the file path.

After entering the file path, please ensure that you select CSV as the file type and set the CSV delimiter to Comma (,).
