Dataflow using Cube with versions

Question

Hello,

Just wanted to confirm if Dataflow is always going to use Version 1 of the Cube?

Or does it select automatically depending on the target cube's structure?

I've tried to look into the documentation but haven't find anything that explains this.

Hi Efraim, if the cube is the target of the data flow, it will always be Version 1 that gets populated, you'll need to run an Align Cube step to populate the aggregate versions. If a cube is just used as a block in a data flow, then as with any other layout Board will automatically use the appropriate version based on the dimensionality of the target block and any current selections.
