Help build smarter reports, dashboards, and KPI views in Board
Have you ever wished you could peek at how other Board users design reports, dashboards, KPIs, charts, or click-through experiences?
You are not alone. Many members have shared that seeing real examples helps spark new ideas, especially when trying to make reports more polished, professional, and useful for business partners.
💡 This month, we are inviting you to participate in a Community show-and-tell.
➡️ Share an example, screenshot, design tip, or before-and-after improvement from a Board report, dashboard, KPI view, or planning experience. It does not need to be perfect. In fact, practical examples are often the most helpful.
You might share:
- A dashboard layout that works well for your users
- A KPI view that makes performance easier to understand
- A chart choice that helped tell the story more clearly
- A report formatting tip, such as font size, spacing, color, or grouping
- A navigation or click-through flow that improved the user experience
- A simple “before and after” showing how you made a report cleaner or easier to use
Why participation matters
✅ When you share, you help other members get fresh ideas they can adapt for their own work. Your example might help someone move past a blank screen, rethink a report layout, or find a better way to present information to their stakeholders.

Sharing your data safely
You can absolutely participate without sharing confidential information. Here are a few ways to make your example safe to share:
- Blur or crop out customer names, employee names, account details, financial values, or other sensitive fields
- Replace real numbers with sample or rounded values
- Rename entities using generic labels such as Product A, Region 1, or Customer Group
- Share only a portion of the dashboard instead of the full screen
- Recreate the layout with mock data
- Focus your post on the design choice or lesson learned instead of the underlying data
